this is the TRUE part 35. but the data was corrupted. the footage i mean. luckily i managed to restore it, though the quality is abit botched. but enjoy anyway

UNDELETE PLUS (FREE):
Undelete Plus is a free versatile program that will work with all the latest versions of Windows and can handle both FAT and NTFS file systems. It’s equally at home with removable media too so you can recover files from memory cards and flash drives. Tick the box to select a drive and click Start Scan to analyse the drive. This can take quite a while to complete on a large drive.
When it’s completed the scan the right-hand pane shows a list of the files available for recovery. You can sort these into file types by selecting from the pane on the left. Select a location to save the undeleted files at the bottom of the screen. You have the option of retaining the original folder structure if you’re recovering entire folders.

Are there any good free programs that recovers deleted data?

If you will not find free one or it will not help you can try to recover your data with Easy File Undelete:http://www.munsoft.com/EasyFileUndelete/
It uses unique modern algorithms to recover files that other software either recovers incorrectly or is unable to detect.

I bought the seagate go external hard drive and it has crashed on me twice. I do not want to reformat it. I’m just looking for a free data recovery program.

It would depend on what the problem was. To get files from an external device, I would start with plugging the device in.

No, Norton Ghost will only function when the rest of your hard drive is working properly. It will not repair Damaged sectors…sorry.

I am looking for a company that can handle hard drive recovery as well as other forms of storage like USB drives, SD/Compact flash cards etc.
